Strawberry Wine Ingredients

Cooking Strawberry Wine:

Step 1: prepare the strawberries.

Carefully sort the strawberries, the berries may look bad, but there should not be rot, mold or other traces indicating that the fruits are spoiled.
Mash the selected and washed strawberries with a crush, turning the berries into a thick gruel.

Step 2: mix the berries with sugar.

Transfer chopped strawberries in a container in volume 10 liters, add sugar, mix and cover the neck of the dishes with a cloth: a kitchen towel or thick gauze folded several times.
Leave the strawberries to roam in a warm place for 3 days.

Step 3: filter the wine.

The fact that the strawberries fermented as it should be clear from the pulp of berries that went up, while all the liquid will be under the pulp.

Use gauze or sieve and gauze to filter the juice from the strawberry pulp. You should have a clear liquid without pulp, a nice scarlet color.

Pour the filtered strawberry juice into glass bottles and cork them with stoppers so that air can escape, but does not penetrate.

Step 4: wait for the wine to ferment.

Leave the strawberry wine to roam. Until fully prepared, containers with juice should stand for 30-50 days. Also, the wine will become lighter with time.
And when will pass 1-1.5 months and strawberry wine will be ready, filter it again, pouring from one container to another using a plastic tube. However, this is not necessary. And let stand a few more days, and then you can try and serve.

Step 5: serve strawberry wine.

Pour the finished strawberry wine into clean bottles, cork tightly and keep out of the reach of the light. Serving the wine is better slightly chilled as an aperitif or just like that, for the mood.
